General Beliefs
- Reduce the corporate and big-money influence in government and all aspects of people's lives - promote a "grass-roots" style of politics where people are encouraged to participate in government at all levels - promote social justice through government programs that help give lower-income people access to success - would like the government to spend even more on social programs than the Democratic Party - would do away with tasers and military-style equipment used in law enforcement agencies. - calls for fastest & highest reduction in many types of pollutants that negatively affect the environment.
Immigration
Believe in social justice for all people living in the U.S. regardless of their immigration status. Want permanent border passes between for all citizens of Canada and Mexico. Government practices and policies towards immigrants should be completely humane. Residency shouldn't be denied over any arbitrary reason.

Enviornment
The Green Party believes that climate change is one of the greatest peril humanity has faced. Want to take immediate action to help with climate change. They demand to reduce greenhouse emissions right away and want to enact an emergency Clean New Deal to mobilize a WWll scale national mobilization. Lastly, they want to negotiate a stronger international climate treaty.
Education
The Green Party wants to allow teachers to pick materials culturally appropriate for their students. They want to promote "grow your own teacher" programs in oppressed communities as well as recruiting more bilingual support staff. Want to replace all police in school with anti-biased trained security personnel. Strongly opposed to doing away with public schools and privatizing education. Instead of competitive programs want to fund education based on priority of socioeconomic level throughout the nation. Want to provide free college tuition to all qualified students at public universities. Oppose efforts of restricting teachings of scientific information and the portrayal of religious beliefs as fact.
Healthcare
They believe the U.S has the worst healthcare outcomes out of any industrialized nation. Want a single-payer (the national government) universal healthcare plan for all citizens provided by the government. This plan would cover medical, dental, mental health, substance abuse, medications, hospice, and long-term care. This coverage would also move with people where ever they move in the U.S
