menace

(adj) threatening or suggesting of coming danger. If you're backing away slowly from something, you can probably use the word menacing to describe it. The storm sent waves of menacing weather across the region "His men carried and walked menacingly throughout the streets." (I am Malala, 45)

blasphemy

n): saying or doing offensive things about God or religion; insulting something that is sacred. People sometimes use this word in a joking manner to refer to something that is offensive to them. For example, if you said pugs were ugly, I would say, "That is blasphemy" "I am representing good Muslims! The mufti said. 'And we all think your girls high school is blasphemy. You should close it."
