Resume Objective (Example)

Professional Objective (optional)
Be specific enough to give an element of career direction to your resume
Skills
Common skills you could put in this section include computer, technical and soft skills that are specifically relevant to the position
Reference
Faculty are often your best source of references since they have assessed the knowledge, skills and abilities that employers are often seeking
Header
Generally employers will contact you via phone or email. For this reason, it is no longer necessary to provide two addresses if you are relocating in the near future
Reference
Generally references are not listed on a resume and only provided if requested by an employer

Highlight your key qualifications instead of personal preferences, such as advancement opportunities
Experience
If you are a recent graduate, you can also include internships and summer jobs
Education
If you are a recent graduate, you can also include your high school education information

Skills
In this section of your resume, you can list your specific skills as they relate to the job you're seeking
Experience
Include the companies you have worked for, the title you held at each company and the specific duties of your position
Education
Include the name of the college you attended, the degrees you completed and honors or achievements you earned
Reference
Include your contact information in a format consistent with your resume in the event that your resume and Resume CAS 5 reference list are separated
Header
Include your name, full address, phone number and email

Is a quick snippet of your skills and experience as it relates to the specific job you seek It would help if you modified it each time you apply for a different position
Resume Objective
It is another optional section unique to each position you apply for It provides the potential employer with an overview of the goals you have for employment
Contact Section
It should be at the top of your resume and include your first and last name, address, email address and phone number If you don't feel comfortable putting your home address, list your city and state Depending on the job you are applying for, you may also want to include your social media platforms, blog or website
Community Service
Some companies prefer candidates who have a passion or experience in this If this is true for the position you are interested in, include any community service commitments or experience you have as it relates to the job

Tailor this to each organization and position. State clearly whether you are looking for an internship, part-time or full-time job

The education section is also a necessary part of your resume

This component outlines your educational background and any academic achievements or awards you have received

This could include information like years of experience in a particular job or industry, skills you possess needed for the position and any specific achievements that demonstrate your eligibility for the job
