Slide Sorter

Shows a smaller image of all the slides in a grade-like way. This makes it easier to rearrange the slides in a presentation.

Quick Access Toolbar

Shows buttons to perform frequently used commands with a single click.

Live Preview

Shows what changes in formatting would look like as you move the pointer over the choices in a menu or list.

Ribbon

A cool way to represent you information - organize charts, flow chars, Venn diagrams, pyramids, etc.

Painter

A feature that allows the user to duplicate (copy) formatting form one part of a slideshow to another.

Autocorrect

A feature used to automate the correction of any misspelled or potentially misspelled words by including a wavy red line below the affected word.

PDF

A file format that provides and electronic image of text or text and graphics that looks like a printed document. It can be viewed, printed, or emailed.

Bullet Points

A list of information with a circle or dot next to each short phrase or sentences.

Grayscale

A range of gray shades from white to black used in a single color display printout.

Crop

Allows the used to alter (change) an object by hiding, deleting, or cutting parts of it.

Transition

An animation effect that happens when a presentation moves from one slide to the next slide.

Backstage

An area used to manage your slideshow's data and information - create, save, and send documents, inspect documents for hidden stuff or personal information and set options such as turning or off AutoComplete.

Footer

Any information at the bottom margin of a slide that is repeated on every slide like a page number or file name.

Header

Any information located in the top margin of a document this is repeated on every page or every other page such as page numbers or file names.

Gridlines

Dotted lines that form a god of 1-inch squares that displays on the slide to help you size and align objects. These do not show on paper if you print it.

Animation

Effects that allow you to show the things (objects) on a slide one by one.
