Kirthar Mountains

These are a mountain range located in the Pakistani provinces of Balochistan and Sindh. The mountains extend southward for about 190 miles from the Mula River in east-central Balochistan to Cape Monze on the Arabian Sea. Highest point: Barugh Hill

Sulaiman Mountains

These are the southern extension of the Hindu Kush mountain system, located in the Zabul, Kandahar and Loya Paktia regions of Afghanistan, and in the southern Federally Administered Tribal Areas, most of northern Balochistan, and some of southwestern Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. Highest point: Takht-e-Sulaiman

Salt Range

This is a hill system in the Punjab province of Pakistan, deriving its name from its extensive deposits of rock salt. The range extends along the south of the Pothohar Plateau and the North of the Jhelum River. Highest point: Sakesar

Karakoram

This is a large mountain range spanning the borders of Pakistan, India, and China, with the northwest extremity of the range extending to Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Highest point: K2

Hindu Kush

This is an 500 mile long mountain range that stretches near the Afghan-Pakistan border, from central Afghanistan to northern Pakistan. It forms the western section of the Himalayan Region. Highest point: Tirich Mir
