Push To Talk (standard feature)

Allows you to call another person in your company which will cause their phone to automatically answer. Feature can make the destination seem like an intercom and it functions similar to a walkie-talkie or intercom. Communication may be one or two pathways.

Alternate Numbers/ DID ; Direct Inward Dial ($4.95)

Alternate numbers (DID) feature allows you to assign multiple phone numbers of extensions to the same user, huntgroup, auto-attendant, etc. This allows multiple direct in dials for the same destination. Different line keys or distinctive ring may be used

Anonymous Call Rejection (standard feature)

Anonymous call rejection service allows you to reject calls from parties who explicitly restrict their identities; avoid calls from unknown people

Answer Confirmation (standard feature)

Answer confirmation used forwarding calls to an external number. Answer confirmation causes Nextiva system to require you press a button to confirm the call is being answered by external phone. This ensures if a call is not answered it will get re-routed back to the Nextiva system instead of ending up on voicemail of external phone. Perfect feature for people looking to separate business and personal

Instant Group Call (standard feature)

Assign an extension or DID that when dialed, will call up to 20 on or off-net numbers. Easy way for Xbert to get a hold of his staff for a quick conference call.

Auto Attendant (standard feature)

Auto attendant allows a caller to be presented with an audible greeting which presents a caller with options (sales, support, "thank you for calling press 1 for sales or 2 for support") Also After Hours AAs and Holiday AAs. Gives impression that business is a medium or large sized one. Route callers more efficient for employees.

Busy Lamp Field (standard feature)

BLF allows you to monitor the call status of another user in your company directly from your phone. Different call statuses include idle, incoming call, on call, or call on hold. The call status of the user is represented by a color coded line key light on your phone. (helps determine when people are on their phones)

Call Group (standard feature)

Call Group feature allows one to dial a phone number or extension and have it ring to multiple users. Also called hunt groups, call groups can be set to ring the users simultaneously, in a specific order or by priority. (similar to a queue but without entrance or comfort messaging, makes it so call can be routed to group of people either in series, parallel or weighted.)

Advanced Call Forwarding (standard feature)

Call forwarding allows you to redirect calls to a third party destination such as a phone number or extension. Some methods of call forwarding include always, busy, no answer, unreachable (call continuity) and selective (schedule).

Call Waiting (standard feature)

Call waiting allows you to receive calls while already actively engaged in a alternate call. If an incoming call is received while already engaged in a call, you will be notified of the new call through a call waiting tone and/or visual display representation. Can still take another call.

Privacy (standard feature)

Can hide the C-suite. Allows you to exclude your self from dial-by-name or extension dialing settings. This also allows you to prevent your phone status from being available to other users.

Caller ID (standard feature)

Customer can choose how to display their name, location, etc. Caller ID allows you the ability to see the name and number of new incoming call. Your name and number can be represented on caller ID of person you are calling out to.

Auto Attendant Recordings (none with Pro, 1 with PP, 3 with Ent.)

Customers get a finite number of AA Recordings based on which plan. Each additional AA recording costs extra. Customer can do these recordings on their own or can use Nextiva to make professional recording and appear bigger.

Do Not Disturb (standard feature)

Do not disturb allows you to ignore calls coming inbound to your phone. At this point, the caller would be redirected to your voicemail or the destination you specify for calls unanswered.

Directed Call Pickup (standard feature)

FAC to answer another phone that is ringing. Directed call pickup allows you to answer a call that is actually ringing someone else. Possible after dialing the directed call pickup FAC and the extension of the user who is receiving the call.

Call Queueing ($14.95 per user)

Good for all businesses so they don't ever lose a call, call bounces around a queue until answered. Callers to be queued rather than go to VM. Gives ability for user to play announcement types include Entrance, Estimated Wait Time, Music on Hold, Comfort Message and Call Whisper. Multiple ring policies that can be used to route callers to the desired "agent" waiting for the call. These include (ring patterns) Circular, Regular, Simultaneous, Uniform and Weighted. Leverage best employees.

Group Paging (standard feature)

Group paging feature allows you to initiate a one-way call to multiple users. This way you can broadcast information to a group of people right from your phone. Push to talk for multiple users.

Hoteling (Enterprise)

Hoteling allows a user (guest) to sign into an alternate users phone (host) to make and receive calls so that it seems as if they are making and receiving calls from their own phone. Can have multiple users (guests) sign into one host if necessary and the host can determine the duration the guest may hotel. Xbert travels to his other locations he won't have to bring his desk phone with him.

Barge

In (standard feature)- Allows a user to join an active call. This can be done using an FAC (Feature Access Code). User being barged in can be alerted with a tone or not alerted. 3rd party would only know if the barging party speaks. (can listen & jump in unnoticed)

Call Notify (standard feature)

Instantaneous. Additional notification. Call Notify sends an email notification to the user of the name and number if the caller meets a predefined criteria such as a schedule.

Simultaneous Ring (standard feature)

Lights up all phones at once. Simultaneous ring allows you to set your phone to simultaneously ring other phones when you line is dialed. Can ring internal and external numbers to make sure that you are capable of answering the call. Desk phone, cell phone and backroom all ring at once.

Meet

Me-Conferencing (Pro Plus and Enterprise ; a la carte $19.95 for 9 additional users)- Meet-Me-Conferencing allows you to setup a conference bridge that has a phone number or extension that multiple internal or external parties can connect to. Up to 9 users; 1 main caller and 8 additional others.

Music on Hold (standard feature)

Music on hold allows your customers or clients to hear music while they are waiting on hold. HD Music and we do not charge for this feature.

Nextiva Anywhere (Enterprise; no a la carte ; uses minutes)

Nextiva Anywhere allows you to forward calls to any external number (like mobile device) and still have ability to toggle back and forth between your external phone and Nextiva phone. You will also be able to dial out from your external phone and have called ID represent that call is coming from your Nextiva phone

Nextiva Application (Pro Plus and Enterprise ; uses data)

Nextiva Application is downloadable softphone for I-phone or Android. Can also be put on PC & Mac used just as any other softphone. Comes with chat function, presence, contact lists, speed dial and ability to screen share.

Virtual Extension ($5.95 per virtual extension)

No Caller ID. Can setup a user who is not intending on using a VoIP phone. Used for forwarding out to external phone numbers like cellphones and landlines. Someone who uses cell only, option to be included in phone systems and dial by name directory

NextOS Portal (standard feature)

Online graphical user interface (GUI) that allows you to manage users, devices, features, reporting, E911, invoices and number porting progress (when applicable). No more needing the IT Guy to activate a new employee.

Series Completion (standard feature)

Provide key system functionality by hunting through a set of lines according to a pre-arranged order (pricing determined by engineering). Match their PBX

Call Recording (Enterprise ; $4.95 per user)

Records entire call even if you turn it on late (on demand). Can set record to always, always with pause/resume, on demand, on demand with user-initiated start, or never. On demand only works for outbound calls when dialing a feature access code before dialing out. Using call recording application allows calls to be reviewed or listened to live. Announcement may be played to notify all parties that call is being recorded.

Call Me Now (standard feature)

Rep answers then it calls customer. Allows a customer or client to click a web-based link or icon that causes Nextiva phone to automatically call out to the number the customer or client provided. This allows customers or clients to easily be contact by click of button on website.

Selective Call Acceptance/Rejection (standard feature)

Selective call acceptance/rejection feature allows you to setup conditions that must be met before a call can come through to your phone (or rejected). You can set conditions on certain phone numbers or specific times of the day. If conditions are not met, you can configure how you would like the call re-routed. (only receive calls during certain hours or from certain numbers)

Sequential Ring (standard feature)

Sequential ring allows you to set your phone to sequentially (one at a time) ring other phones when your line is dialed. Can sequentially ring internal and external numbers to make sure that you are capable of answering the call. (first desk phone, then cell phone then back phone)

Call Manager / Attendant Console (Enterprise)

Softphone. Desktop software that allows calls to be made or taken without needing to use the dial pad on the user's deskphone. Also shows call logs and searchable contacts (manage their phone and reps)

Custom Ringback (Enterprise)

The custom ringback feature allows your customers or clients to hear a music file of your choice as opposed to ringing when they call you. Can record music or play back marketing message like "ask me about this week's specials." Stops playing when someone picks up.Pr

Voicemail to Email (standard feature)

The voicemail to email messaging allows you to setup an email address where your voicemail messages can be sent to. This will allow you to listen to voicemails directly from computer or mobile device.

Call Parking (standard feature)

Unlimited places to park because of the cloud. Any 4 digit extension. Allows you to place an active call on hold against an extension. Any member that is in the call parking group can retrieve this call. After you park a call, can make and receive calls freely without limitations.

Shared Call Appearance (up to 5 on Pro and Pro Plus, up to 35 on Enterprise; basic extension = $9.95/month for conference rooms, break room, kitchen)

Users can share their credentials to other phones. Allows multiple phones to have your line assigned to it. Allow you to make and receive calls from your line at multiple locations. Could also apply someone else's line In your company to your phone to make and receive calls as them. Xbert to share his line with his colleague so when he steps away, his colleague can field those calls.

Direct Voicemail Transfer (standard feature)

Using blind transfer, then a FAC, then the target extension, a user may drop someone off into the target extensions voicemail without listening to the phone ringing. Saves time when transferring to a fellow user's voicemail.

Voicemail to Text and Transcription ($2.95 per user)

Voicemail to text allows a user to receive the VM via .WAV file as well as transcript. User can also receive SMS text of transcription.

N

Way Calling (standard feature)- N-Way calling allows you to extend a conference call to include up to 6 simultaneous calls on one phone. This is useful when setting up large conference calls without using a conference bridge. 1 main + 5 callers

Pre

alerting Announcement (Enterprise ; not a la carte)- Pre-ring and gets listened to in its entirety. Pre-alerting announcement allows you to play an audible greeting for incoming calls before the call starts ringing. This could be used to inform the customer that there are new specials, calls are being recorded, or anything else you want the incoming caller to hear before working with you. Any messaging can be relayed.

Dial

by-name Directory (standard feature)- The dial-by-name directory feature allows incoming calls to reach a specific person in your company by dialing their first or last name using keypad on the phone. More efficient call routing when caller knows the name of who they are calling.

Three

way Calling (standard feature)- Allows you to make a three-way call with two other parties. This would allow all three parties to communicate with eachother simultaneously.
