Also by helping the public get more accurate science-based information. -also plays a role for regulating manufacturing, marketing and distribution of tobacco. Also plays a significant role in the nations counterterrorism capability

The OAA promotes:

The well-Being of older individuals by providing services and programs designed to help them live independently in their homes and communities. The act also empowers the federal gov. To distribute funds to the states for supportive services for individuals over the age of 60.

To ENHANCE and PROTECT the health and wellbeing of all Americans. DHHS fulfills that mission by providing for effective health and human services and fostering advances in medicine, public health and social services

AHRQ's mission:

To produce evidence to make health care safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable, and to work within the US. department of health and human services and with other partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used.

As the nations health protection agency, CDC saves lives and protest people from health threats -CDC accomplishes their mission by: conducting critical science and provides health information that protects our nation against expensive and dangerous health threats and response when these arise.

What is the ACF?

Is a division of the department of humans and health services. They promote the economic and social wellbeing of families, children, individuals and communities with partnership, funding, guidance, training and technical assistance.

AHIP:

Is the national trade association representing the health insurance community. AHIP's members provide health and supplement benefits through employer-sponsored coverage, the individuals insurance market and public programs such as Medicare and medicaid.
