- My role during the Patriot engagement was to update our Conditional Access Policies that control MFA. - I Joined the project late, after the person that implemented MFA in our organization had changed roles - I was only familiar with them at a high level.

Adding the Device Control option gives us the ability to validate the level of risk for a sign-in, without always forcing the user to use MFA. They can get right to work without interruption. It significantly reduced the number of MFA prompts our users were getting.

Doug from the Patriot team recommended using Device Controls to reduce the amount of MFA prompts our end users were getting. So, we started evaluating things like... - Are you on a Azure Joined device? - Is your device marked compliant? - Are you on an Intune managed mobile device?
