Planets (In our solar system)
Saturn
It has the biggest, most beautiful, rings in the solar system. Second biggest planet next to Jupiter.
Mars
Named after the Roman god of war. Smaller than Earth, and covered in red. It has valleys, mountains, etc.
Venus
Named after the goddess of love. Rotates in the opposite direction than the other planets. The hottest planet. Very dry. Covered in yellow clouds.
Earth
The only planet known to have life, air, and water, which means it is the only place animals(Humans, Etc.) can live on.
Neptune
The planet farthest away from the sun. Has high winds, and is the coldest planet.
Mercery
The smallest planet, and closest to the sun. One side is hot, and the other side is cold.
Jupiter
Named after the Roman king of the gods. The largest planet in our galaxy. Covered in clouds, and has a big red spot that never moves, but no one knows why. It, like the other planets farthest from the sun (Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune), is made out of gases. The four planets closest to the sun (Mercery, Venus, Earth, Mars), are made out of rock. The core of this planet is expected to be very hot, although it has never been explored. Has the most moons.
Sun
This is not a planet, but it is a star. It is not the biggest star, but it is the closest one to us, and we orbit around it, like all the other planets. This is closest to Mercury.
Uranus
This planet is sideways, probably because it was hit by a large object before, and even spins the opposite way. It has thin rings, like Jupiter.
