. Arbanassi - (Арбанаси)

Arbanassi is a village in northern Bulgaria. It is located in Veliko Tarnovo district. Arbanassi is located on a hill that separates the two largest towns in the district - Veliko Tarnovo and Gorna Oryahovitsa. It is known for its rich history and large number of historical monuments, such as 17th- and 18th-century churches and examples of Bulgarian National Revival architecture, which have turned it into a popular tourist destination. The name of the village is derived from the word Arbanas meaning "Albanian" in Bulgarian of the medieval period. During the Ottoman era, the Turkish term Arnavud meaning "Albanian" was also used as a name for the village.

The National Museum of Education - (Националният музей на образованието)

The National Museum of Education is a museum exhibition showing the stages of Bulgarian education from the ninth century to the present day. It is located in one of the wings of the Aprilov High School in Gabrovo. In 1974, the National Museum of Education was built in the building of Aprilovska Gymnasium, which is the only one in the country and presents the development of Bulgarian education to the present day. The museum's collection contains the personal library arranged by Vasil Aprilov. The books written by Aprilov are also kept there. Films related to Bulgarian education are screened in the museum's cinema room. There are periodic exhibitions related to various celebrations of cultural events.

The Smolyan Lakes

The Smolyan Lakes are located on the left slope of the valley of the Cherna river and north into the Orpheus rocks and Mount in the Rhodope Mountains. The lakes are scattered throughout the whole valley, from the Orpheus rocks to the town of Smolyan. In the past, the lakes were about 20 in number, but now only seven remain, the others have turned into swamps. During the spring and fall, in the place of some of these marshes, small lakes reappear. Others are transformed into fishponds.

. The Tsarska Bistritsa Palace - (Дворецът "Царска Бистрица")

Tsarska Bistritsa Palace is ex - palace of the rulers of the third Bulgarian kingdom. The palace is located near the Borovets resort in Rila mountain. It was built between 1898-1914. It is one of the main palaces of the Bulgarian tsars and was also used as a hunting lodge. Inside of the palace there are a lot of original vintage furniture and hunting trophies from the early 20 century. In the yard of the complex there are a lot of rare kinds of trees. The complex is very important for Bulgarian history because it is one of the main sights from the era of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom. Also in this palace many events took place. One of them is when the wife of Boris the third receives a message that says her husband is dead. Another memorable event that took place there was when the kids of Tsar Boris saw him for the last time before his death.

. Lake "Srebarna" - (Езерото ,,Сребърна)

· Lake Srebarna is a freshwater lake in Bulgaria, located along the Danube River, the largest riverside lake in the country, a protected natural site of national and international importance. · It is located in the western part of the Aydemir Lowland, northeast of the village of Srebarna. · The catchment area of the lake is 402 square kilometers. · It is fed by karst waters from the Danube through the natural connection - the Dragayka channel and the Dobrudzha dry valleys of Dobrotinsko gorge, Babukska river, Kulnezka river and Kalushevo gorge, which flow into it only during heavy rains and intense snowmelt. · In the periphery it is overgrown with swamp and water-loving vegetation. · The lake is home to 221 species of birds, 19 of which are listed in the Red Data Book of Bulgaria.

14. The Cyrillic alphabet - (Кирилицата/ Домът на Кирилицата)

· The Cyrillic Courtyard has been open since May 2015. · Created by Karen Aleksanyan. · Six of the letters spell out the name of the first Bulgarian capital, Pliska, and the rest are freely placed on the lawn. · The letters were made in Armenia by 12 Armenian sculptors, and the sculptures of Tsar Boris I and St. St. Cyril and Methodius. · The entrance leads directly to the courtyard of the Cyrillic alphabet, an outdoor space housing larger than life stone sculptures of all 30 letters in the Bulgarian alphabet. · These stand over two meters high, mounted for display and carefully arranged in a large oval. · Statues of Cyril and Methodius and King Boris I keep watch over the courtyard, reminding us of the long history and active measures necessary to bring Slavic literacy and Christianity together in Bulgaria.

The Palace in Balchik - (Дворецът в Балчик)

· The Palace in Balchik is a palace in the Bulgarian Black Sea town and resort of Balchik in Southern Dobruja. · The official name of the palace was the Quiet Nest Palace. It was constructed between 1926 and 1937, during the Romanian control of the region, for the needs of Queen Marie of Romania. · The palace complex consists of a number of residential villas, a smoking hall, a wine cellar, a power station, a monastery, a holy spring, a chapel and many other buildings, as well as most notably a park that is today a state-run botanical garden. · In 1940, after the reincorporation of Southern Dobruja in Bulgaria with the Treaty of Craiova, the Balchik Botanical Garden was established at the place of the palace's park. One of the garden's main attractions is the collection of large-sized cactus species arranged outdoors on 1,000 square meters, the second of its kind in Europe after the one in Monaco.

Grasshopper Falls - (Скакавишки водопад)

· The Polska Skakavitsa waterfall is located in the northern part of the Kyustendil region near the villages of Polska Skakavitsa and Rustadvitsa. · The height of the waterfall is about 53 meters, which ranks it third in Bulgaria. · It was declared a natural landmark in 1968. · The waterfall is formed by the line Shiroki dol - a right tributary of the Struma River. · The waters of the stream that forms the Skakavik waterfall are formed west of it. · Millions of years ago the earth's crust cracked and created a high sill, which gradually turned into a high terrace from which the waterfall now falls. · This terrace rises at a large meander of the Struma River in the Zemen Gorge. · The waters of the waterfall have formed corrugated steps on their way. · On the terrace of the waterfall is picturesquely situated the mahalla of the village of Polska Skakavitsa, and in the immediate vicinity of the waterfall is the Orthodox Church of St. Demetrius.

Reserve "Ropotamo" - (Резерват ,,Ропотамо'')

· The Ropotamo is a river in southeastern Bulgaria. · It originates from the Bosna Ridge in the Strandzha Mountains, flows for 48 kilometers and flows into the Black Sea at Cape St. Dimitar between Dyuni and Primorsko. · The river is most often noted for its 30 meter wide mouth, which is home to an abundance of plant species, over 100 of which are endangered in the country. · The lower section of the river has been a protected area since 1940 and is part of the Ropotamo Reserve. · The lower reaches of the Ropotamo are a popular tourist attraction because of the water lilies and rock formations above the river, some of which are home to nesting bald eagles. · The Ropotamo Glacier on Livingstone Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica, is named after the Ropotamo River.

Trigrad Gorge - (Триградско ждрело)

· The Trigrad Gorge is a canyon of vertical marble cliffs in the Rhodope Mountains. · It is located in Smolyan district, one of the southernmost districts of Bulgaria. · The gorge closes the course of the Trigradska River, which flows into the Diavolskoe Gloro cave and 530 m further on emerges as a large karst spring. · Later it flows into the Buynovska River. · The western wall of the gorge reaches up to 300 m in height, while the eastern wall extends 300-350 m. · Trigrad Gorge is part of the Hundred National Tourist Sites. · The main attraction of the gorge is the amazing Devil's Throat Cave, which is located on the left slope. · On its eastern slope, much higher up, is another famous cave - Haramiyska hole. · About 500 meters before the beginning of the gorge there is the "Trigrad Rocks" and near it is the only in Bulgaria "Bear Museum".

The Panagyur Gold Treasure

· The panagyur treasure is a Thracian antique, golden set of vessels consisting of nine vessels with a total weight of about 6 kilograms. · It was discovered on December 8 1949, 2 km from the village of panagyrishte. · The set is believed to have belonged to a ruler of the odrysi tribe from the late 4th and early 3rd centuries Before Christ · And was used for religious ceremonies. · Its style and decoration combine Thracian and Hellenistic influences. · It consists of 9 gold objects · Such vessels of precious metal were symbols of social status · And were used in ritual actions of Thracian priests

Nature Park "The Blue Stones" - (Природен парк "Сините камъни")

· The park is part of Sliven Mountain, which is part of the Balkan Mountain Range. · The territory of the nature park is situated on the eastern slope of the Balkan Mountains. · The southern boundary of the nature park is defined by the town of Sliven. · To the north, west and east the park is surrounded by extensive forests. · The park was declared on 28 November 1980 with the aim of preserving the specific ecosystems as well as the beautiful nature. · On 5 August 2002 the area of the Blue Stones Nature Park was increased. · The relief of the natural park is highly dissected. · The higher areas of the natural park are located in its northern parts. · The main ridge of the Sliven Mountains passes there. · The northern slopes of the mountain, which are part of the nature park, are extremely steep and difficult to access. · The northern slopes are covered with extensive beech forests.
