PTC - POSITIVE TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEM

- The audible indicator fails to sound when the speed limit display changes to a more restrictive speed; - The audible indicator continues to sound even though the speed limit change was acknowledged, and the speed of the train was reduced to the speed required; - Damage occurs to any parts of the PTC on-board apparatus; - The on-board apparatus experiences or displays an internal failure which results in a penalty break application; - The speed limit indicator displays a speed higher than normal speed for 3 miles.
