Wolfs condition

Wolf claims moral sanity needs to be added to the conditions required by the Deep-Self view. - Moral Sanity: o The ability cognitively and normatively to understand and appreciate the world for what it is - She claims this because o If you lack moral sanity you can govern your actions by your desires, and govern your desires by your deep self, but you are not able to govern yourself by what is right and wrong o If you aren't able to govern yourself from right and wrong, then you aren't morally responsible for what you do.

What is deep self view of moral responsibility?

an agent is responsible for an action they performed if and only if her action stemmed from her deep self. It isn't enough for responsibility that the agent acted on their own desires those also have to stem from deep self.
