Respiratory Job Interview questions
What is the difference between AVAPS mode and ST Mode
AVAPS stands for Average Volume Assured Pressure Support. This is a feature on the Trilogy Ventilator that responds to patient effort and changes in the resistance of the tubing to compensate for lost volume, assuring that on average the patient will receive the same tidal volume even if the patient rolls over and squeezes the tubing while they sleep.

Asked about any poor patient encounters and how they were handled
Working night shifts, sometimes you encounter the patients who get angry when woken and refuse treatment. I just went along by first apologizing, then explaining the importance of the medication, and also ensured the patient that by receiving the medication would only help the process of his healing. I also mentioned that my duties are to care for him and that I wanted to see him get better.
