Momentum
the force or speed with which something moves
Friction
the resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another.
Velocity
the speed of an object in a particular direction
Law of Force and Acceleration
when an object has a constant mass is acted upon by a force, the object will accelerate in the same direction as the force applied
Law of Inertia
A law formulated by Galileo that states that motion, not rest, is the natural state of an object, and that an object continues in motion forever unless stopped by some external force.
Acceleration
Change in velocity divided by the time it takes for the change to occur
Law of Action Reaction
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
Net Force
The overall force on an object when all the individual forces acting on it are added together
