Provides for Hanoverian succession in ENgland

Treaty of Westphalia (17th century)

Reinstated Ferdinand's edict of Restitution. It also firmly asserted the Peace of Augsburg. This paved the way for modern times because of disunification of Germany. The calvinists get recognition. The Pope doesn't like it because it gives in to protestants.

The Northern Provinces uniting against the Southern provinces. Won the eventual war b/c ENgland and France sided with it

Triumph for WIllIam of Orange. It secured Holland's borders, thwarted Louis expansion into Germany
