What does WIMP stand for?
- Windows: Multiple screens so you can multitask - Icons: Image you click on to make a shortcut - Menus: Dropdown list (file, open as...) - Pointer: The mouse you use to click on icons
CLI (Command Line Interface)
A place where you type in specific commands to tell the computer what to do. You need to know the commands No typing errors or else the computer will not understand
GUI (Graphical User Interface)
An interface that allows users to interact by pointing and clicking rather than by using text commands and opens up 'WIMP'.

An operating system is a software program that manages computer resources.
