Northern Asia

North Asia or Northern Asia refers to the vast northern part of Asia east of the Ural Mountains, also known as Siberia. The region is divided into the Russian federal districts of Ural, Siberia, and the Russian Far East. Russia

Western Asia

The region consists of grasslands, rangelands, deserts, and mountains. Which includes 19 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

South Asia

The region is bounded by the Indian Ocean in the south and includes the Himalaya in the north. Which includes: 9 countries, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan ( according to UN)- some say Central Asia.

Southeast Asia

The region is situated in the southeastern part of the continent, south of China, east of India, and to the north of Australia. Which consists of 11 countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar(Burma), Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, East Timor and Vietnam.

Central Asia

This region in Asia between the Caspian Sea and Western China. Which consists of these five countries: Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan,Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan

Eastern Asia

This region refers to the eastern part of the Asian continent plus the island nation of Japan. Which includes: 5 sovereign countries, Mongolia, China, North Korea, South Korea and Japan. Taiwan (in dispute)
