reverse change in controlled condition/a feedback system cycle that reverses a change in a controlled condition

axillary

small hallow beneath the arm where it joins the body at the shoulders (armpit)

pericardial cavity

small potential space between the visceral and parietal layers of the serous pericardium that contains pericardial fluid/fluid filled space between two layers of pericardium (Heart)

pleural cavity

small potential space between the visceral and parietal pleurae (lungs)

abdominal cavity

superior portion of the abdominopelvic cavity that contains the stomach, spleen. Liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, small intestine, and part of the large intestine.

mediastinum

the anatomical region on the thoracic cavity between the pleurae region of the lungs that extends from the sternum to the vetebral column and from the first rib to the diaphragm/space between chest and pleurae sace of the lungs

tragus

the cartilaginous projection anterior to the external opening of the ear/small projectin in front of the external opening of the ear

philtrum

vertical groove in the median portion of the upper lip
