Blackboard Ultra
Content Collection:
Add files from your institution's shared repository. You can store and find content in personal, course, and institution folders in the Content Collection. If you stored files from other courses in the Content Collection, you'll be able to easily find and add them.
D. New activity:

Edit and delete content.
In an item's row, open the menu to access the Edit and Delete functions. You can make changes or delete an item from your course. If you delete a folder or learning module that has content, the content is also removed from the Course Content page.
Cloud Storage:
Instantly connect to multiple web apps where you store files, such as OneDrive®. You may choose multiple files from cloud storage to add to your Course Content page in one action. The files you add are copies. If you make a change to a file in cloud storage, you need to upload a new copy in your course.
Add content.
Select the plus sign wherever you want to add content. You can also expand or create a folder or learning module and add content; Create new content, upload something you already have, or add content from external sources or from another course.

B.2 Details & Actions: Blackboard Collaborate
-You can use the course menu link for Collaborate options. -This is a convenient launch point for scheduled and impromptu meetings. -The icon appears in purple to show you and other course members when people are active in the Collaborate room.
How to create a document or page to present a combination of content.
1. Select the plus sign wherever you want to add a document. In the menu, select Create to open the Create Item panel and select Document. The New Document page opens. 2. You can also expand or create a folder or learning module and add a document.
B.2 Details & Actions: Course availability
1.Open a course when you're ready for students to participate. 2.Private: You can make a course private while you get it ready for students. Students see private courses in their course lists, but they can't access them.
Add learning modules directly

Upload:
Browse for files on your computer. They will appear in the content list. Students select a file title to download it. Supported file types include DOC, DOCX, HTM, HTML, MP3, MPG, PDF, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, RTF, TXT, ZIP, and most image types.
Copy Content:
Copy an entire course or select items from the Ultra courses you teach. Want to copy an entire Original course or import a course package? Open the menu on the right side above the content list and select the Import Content option.
Create:
Create a learning module, documents, links, folders, discussions, assignments, and tests. A panel opens and you can choose the content type you want to add.

Content Market:
Discover and add content and tools from external sources. Access valuable learning materials from Blackboard's partner publishers.
You can create a document or page to present a combination of content.
For example, you can include introductory text for a lesson, an audio file of a lecture, and an image. When students select the document title, the materials you added are all presented together on one page. Students see the content just as you see it, without the editing options. 1. Select the plus sign wherever you want to add a document. In the menu, select Create to open the Create Item panel and select Document. The New Document page opens. 2. You can also expand or create a folder or learning module and add a document.
Creating a Learning Module
Learning modules are a great way to help organize your content in manageable chunks for your students. Some instructors have a learning module for each week of their course. Some use them more like units that span multiple weeks. You should choose what you think will work best for your students. Whatever approach you take, your goal should be to create content in manageable chunks.

Creating a Document Page -1
Now that you have a learning module, you can start adding items into it. Ultra's document page view allows your students to seamlessly move through content in a module with the use of navigation arrows at the top of each document page.
A. Navigation bar
Open frequently used tools in one step. Select an icon to check the course calendar, respond to class discussions, access the course gradebook, and send a message.
Editing, reordering, and deleting content: Reorder content easily.
Point to an item to reveal its management functions. Select the Move icon and drag the item to a new location in the list. With your keyboard, you can move an item to a new location, move an item into an expanded folder, and move a folder into another expanded folder. 1. Tab to an item's move icon. 2. Press Enter to activate move mode. 3. Use the arrow keys to choose a location. 4. Press Enter to drop the item in the new location.
C. Details & Actions: Add content:
Select the plus sign wherever you want to add content. If you want to copy or import content, open the menu on the right side above the content list.
Creating a Document Page -2
You are unable to see these arrows unless you are in student view and the content is shown to students. You can add media, such as embed videos and files, directly on the document page. For this reason, the document page is the best platform for the content of your course
Add learning modules directly on the Course Content page.
You can add documents, files, tests, assignments, folders, multimedia, and links to websites and discussions inside learning modules. Drag existing content into modules or use the plus icon to add new content directly. 1. Select the plus sign wherever you want to add a learning module. In the menu, select Create to open the Create Item panel. Select Learning module.
Navigating Ultra
Your course content appears in the main part of the page. When you open content, it slides out in a layer on top of the Course Content page. Close layers to go back to a previous spot in your course.
Creating Content
Your course creation starts on the Course Content page. You'll find it's easy to discover features and complete actions.
