Possibility of friendship being confused with job performance. Potential for nepotism. Potential for adverse impact.

Ask people in your network to help you in your job search. Check your profile often to make sure the information is accurate and up-to-date.

Use quality paper and easy to read type. Proofread carefully. If uploading to an employer, employment agency or job board, use simple format and font. Use typical job description phraseology. Include volunteer experience. Don't forget about networking as an excellent way of gaining access hiring decision makers
