A network that linked to the internet but not a site accessed by the general public E.g a private network of an organization. It can only be accessed by employees and not anyone outside of the organisation.
Extranet
A network that linked to the internet that link multiple intranets. E.g a controlled private network, individuals get access to the organization's entire network

Is internet technologies used that allow selling and buying activities. Businesses use and share information from customers and suppliers for transactions. Examples of business processes include receiving orders, invoicing, shipping products, updating employee information, or setting a marketing budget.
