Step 3: Select Hanging in the Special list and specify the indent amount (0.25") in the By box.

A numbered list would be used instead of a bulleted list because a numbered list is used when the items are not of equal importance and have to be in a specific order.
What is a template?
A template is a master file that includes the basic formatting and elements for a particular style of document, workbook, presentation, or publication.
Give an example of a document that is typically double spaced.
An essay is an example of a document that is typically double spaced.
What is the difference between formatting a paragraph with a 1" left indent using Page Layout > Indent Left and by dragging markers on the ruler?
Answers will vary. Dragging markers on the ruler is a quicker way to format but it may not be as precise as using Page Layout > Indent Left.
How is the formatting of a paragraph changed to double spaced?
Click HOME then Line and Paragraph Spacing to display options for changing the amount of space between lines of text in a paragraph. Select 2.0 to format a paragraph with double spacing.

The option to save a document as an HTML file is useful because a Word document that is saved as an HTML file is a smaller file that does not take up as much space on the computer's hard drive and only keeps the contents of the document.

To change the space before a paragraph, use Page Layout > Before.
How is a page break deleted?
To delete a page break, place the insertion point to the left of the page break and press the Delete Key. The document repaginates and text from the next page moves up to fill the current page.
