Energizer
Motivates group members to do their best. Helps create enthusiasm for the task "cheerleader"
Encourager- supporter
Praises and agrees with grp members, provides recognition and person to person encouragement. Listens empathically
Initiator-contributor
Purposes ideas and suggestions, provides direction for the group. Gets group started

Deserter: withdraws from the group appears "above it all" and bored or annoyed with the discussions. Remains aloof or stops contributing.

Explains what others are trying to say, monitors and interrupts feelings feelings and non verbal communication. Expresses group feelings paraphrases

Helps explain ideas and suggestions by providing examples or summaries or by describing the consequences of a decision or action.
