Stationary devices consisting of a separate case called a system unit (tower) Peripheral devices (monitor, keyboard, and mouse) are connected to system unit Relatively easy hardware upgrades Large footprint (takes up physical space) Popular with businesses, families, and gamers/computer experts (due to flexibility/expansion)
