It was originally used for certificates. 2) Text paper- It is very high quality 3) newspaper- It is of low quality and hence in expensive 4)Onion skin- is thin, lightweight, translucent paper and used for making carbon copies 5)Flimsy-thin paper used to make several copies of an article, a design, ect., at a time. 6) Carbon- is a thin paper coated with carbon or any pigmented substance and is used to make a second impression of a document as it is being written or typed 7) stencil paper- is a strong tissue paper coated with paraffin or other materials for stencils 8)coated paper- it is coated with an agent to improve the brightness or the printing properties of paper. 9) uncoated paper- it has no coated with any agent, so it absorb more ink. It is used for letter heads,copy papers, and printing papers 10) no carbon required (ncr)- it is a special type of coated paper that can act as a replacement of a blue carbon paper. since the back is coated with micro-encapsulated dye, the messiness of the blue carbon paper can be avoided.
