How could you tell quickly if a string of lights is wired in series or parallel?
Remove one bulb. If it's a series, all the lights will go out; if it's parallel, the remaining lights will stay lit.
What is resistance? What is the unit of resistance?
Resistance is the tendency of an object to prevent the flow of current, the unit is the "ohm" (Ω)
Draw a series circuit and parallel circuit. Be sure you understand the difference between the two and can recognize them when you see them.

What is lightning and why does it occur?
4.Lightning is a large discharge of static electricity caused by an unbalanced charge between the cloud and the ground.

What is the difference between a dry cell and wet cell battery?
A dry cell battery contains the reactions within a moist paste - most household batteries are dry cell. A wet cell battery requires some conductive battery solution. An example of a wet cell would be a car's battery

Why do clothes stick together after they have been put through a drier?
As the clothes rub against each other, some clothes lose electrons to become positively charged. Others gain electrons to become negatively charged. The opposite charges attract.
How does rubbing a balloon against your hair create static electricity?
As you rub the balloon against your hair, the electrons are rearranged to cause a difference in charge. This is known as charging by induction.
