ARIA: This was my trip...but you can't even accept a gift without telling me it's all wrong!

GALE: Wouldn't miss it.
Awesome. I think if anyone messed with Aria today, she'd get riled up again.
ARIA: I'm not a distraction!

GALE: I love chemistry so much...Can't right now, I'm so tired. I can fit in a nap before-
Hey, you're staying in tonight, right? We have that dinner thing.
ARIA: I was thinking. I was thinking seriously.
I didn't know. I can't go. You know I want to, but- I can't. I have to think about myself for once.
ARIA: It was nothing. I was just talking to a friend and Patrick came in like Popeye trying to start a fight.
I didn't start anything. You were starting to claw at this girl and I didn't want to have to deal with the aftermath of that.
ARIA: Why not? Is it the wrong size? I know I had that right.
I don't know. It's too bright.
ARIA: It goes well. Hi Gale. Oh my god, Patrick, you gotta tell them.
I don't want to. They wouldn't get it.
ARIA: For once? All you do is think about yourself! I've been planning this trip for a month. Can't you do this for me?
I don't- I can't. I have to keep m grades up, Aria, and I can't have distractions.
ARIA: It's a wardrobe change.
I don't- Thank you for this. Really. Thanks for thinking of me.

I like things...I like things that go with me. This is too bright.

I thought that was a daydream.
ARIA: What?
I thought you were just thinking out loud about a "maybe" vacation. You tend to do that.
ARIA: It doesn't matter...You need to be comfortable with being kinds to someone just because it's a good thing to do.
Is this- Okay, I get it. I have work to do.
ARIA: A welcome back gift.
It's been like a month since school's been back up. (phone) Yeah, like exactly a month. What is it?
ARIA: But you won't wear it?
It's just not me.
ARIA: It fits you!
It's too bright. I'd stick out like a sore thumb.

ARIA: I've planned it down to the minute.
No you did not. You always plan stuff, but they never go anywhere. Look, sometimes plans fall apart, and you just have to deal with that. I'm sorry I can't go, but I can't. We can do something around here. Something that I can actually do.
GALE: What happened? Are you guys okay?
Not now, Gale. Aria's blaming me for her mistake. She's being unrealistic and expects me to figure things out.
KEIRA: Yeah, cause it was when you two started dating.
Oh yeah, I remember that. Time flies.
ARIA: Okay so last night you were at a party, right? And we got a bit drunk, but that's fine.
Oh you got more than a bit drunk. You blacked out for sure. I was the one who had to break that whole mess up.
ARIA: Look inside, *******.
Oh, you didn't have to get me this.
ARIA: Think of it as a goal. During thanksgiving break, we van go on this trip and relax, and forget about grades or your clothing tastes.
Okay, I can't think of it as a goal, because it isn't. I can't get my hopes up for something that probably won't end up happening.
KEIRA: Bye! (Gale exits)
Okay, I'm going to head up and unpack some more.
