Define the Law of Universal gravitation.
Newton's law is that all objects in the universe attract each other by the force of gravity.

Sliding Friction: Objects sliding over each other causes sliding friction. Rolling Friction: Rolling friction is created by objects such as wheels or ball bearings. This tends to have less friction than Sliding friction. Fluid Friction: A force exerted by a fluid is called fluid friction. Air resistance is an example of this friction.
What is newton's first law of motion?
The first law of motion states that an object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will remain in motion at constant velocity unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
How is a force involved when the sails of a windmill turn?
The force of the wind turns the sails, because without that force, it would remain still because of inertia/ Newton's first law.
Explain how Newton's laws affect the motion of an object.
The object's motion in it's resting state represents inertia, because the object is not moving. The second law represents the things which move the object in different directions, Force, mass, and acceleration are all quantities that move the object. His third law, states that with any action, there is an equal opposite reaction, so if you push or pull anything, the object or you will move accordingly to the surrounding situations.

The third law of motion states that for every action, there is an equal opposite reaction.
What three quantities are related in Newton's second law of motion and how are they related?
The three quantities are Force, mass, and acceleration. Force=mass*acceleration. Acceleration and Force are related because force over mass causes acceleration, force over acceleration equals mass, and mass over force equals acceleration. The greater the force, the more the acceleration. If the object has greater inertia, the force needs to be increased to accelerate the object.

This is because of air resistance.
Why would marble drop at the same rate as a bowling ball?
This is because they have the same air resistance and gravity is the same for both objects.

Weight = Mass X acceleration due to gravity. W = M x G. Mass, is the density of an object. Weight is the measure of force of gravity on an object.

A balanced force occurs when two forces that push or pull opposite directions are of the same size. Unbalanced force is when a force in a certain direction is stronger than another.

Friction is a force that acts in a direction opposite to the motion of the moving object. Friction will cause a moving object to slow down and finally stop.
