victor most of time--In middle creature narrates and we see him respond to music and stuff so we can begin to be sympathetic to creature

end of book

victor very sick, at begining walton is separate writing letters but at end he comes into story and tries to nurse victor back to sick, too sick and he dies on walton's boat -creature comes on boat to mourn death of victor-bound by desire for revenge and shows their bond-runs out onto ice and dies by building fire and stepping into it

-father-William Godwin-famous writer-remarried soon after wife dies-married lady with her own daughter, step mother always concerned about her own daughter's education but not w Mary Shelley's, so MS educated herself through reading the big library her dad had-Walton had also educated himself through reading -mother-Mary Wollstonecraft-wrote 'A Vindication for the Rights of Women'-died when she was 11 days old but she read her book by her grave over and over again everyday the weather was ok -She was born into these crazy writer parents and family -She wrote Frankenstein when she was 19
