Welcome, welcome, welcome! We're so happy to have you here at the glass slipper! I'm sleepless beauty, and it's true, I haven't slept since I was put under that sleepless spell, which really isn't too bad since you can get so much done when you don't sleep! Take last night-while everyone else snoozed, I alphabetized all the spices in the kitchen, refinished and polished the wood floors, and, right before sunrise, I managed to complete all my Christmas shopping for the next two years! I bought little Red Robin Hood a new red bow. To be clear, I mean a bow as in bow in arrows, not a hair bow, even though that would be nice, too, except reds not really the hair bow type. Anyway-shhh-don't tell her, it's a surprise! Do you think she'll like it? Some people say I talk too much, others say I need to breathe more or maybe blink once in a while, but who has tile for that? I mean, my motto is, "life is too short to be lying around sleeping." Do you have a motto? I feel like fewer and fewer people have mottos these days. I guess most people's motto is, "I don't believe in having a motto." So what brings you here? Many come to the glass slipper for a cold drink and warm meal, others come to find love, and some come because they have something to hide. It's also a good place to avoid Queen white out. Oh, she scares me, and when I'm scared I tend to talk more! But you've all been very quiet. What's your story? -Sleepless Beauty (Julie)

It was a long journey to the glass slipper. Fortunately, we wrangled some wild horses and rose them to our destination. Did I mention that the journey to the glass sipper was long? Almost to the glass slipper, I hope. Finally, we arrived at the glass slipper. Of course, being kind souls, we released our magnificent horses. The glass slipper served some of the finest food and drink for rejected fairy tale characters near and far. It was run by the energetic princess, sleepless beauty. -Mrs Rosewood
