CSV files look like a garden-variety spreadsheet but with a CSV extension. CSV files can be used with any spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel, Openoffice calc, or google spreadsheets.

Google Spreadsheets has a maximum of 400,000 cells. If a user expects a higher number of responses, he or she can choose to have the responses saved as a CSV file, which can hold more data than a google spreadsheet.

A chart is created for each question that displays the response data.

Surveys

A poll or questionnaire distributed to a group of people with the intent of collecting data related to a specific topic. The response information can remain private or shared with others. There is not a limit to the numbers of questions in a google form or the number of people that can respond. A google account is not required in order to receive and complete a google form.
