Depression
a condition characterized by a "sad and blue" feeling, overwhelming feeling of hopelessness and worthlessness, and disappointment leading to apathy and withdrawl
Type A personality
a person who seems to exhibit intense drive, and extreme competitiveness
Type B personality
a person who seems to exhibit patience, calmness and who is less hurried
conviction
a personal belief upon which certain actions are based

a standard of personal behavior

a strong belief based upon the Word of God, the framework that holds an individual's Christian walk together

an area which a person will not go beyond: a place of security

Optimist
one who has the tendency to look on the more favorable side of happenings
Pessimist
one who has the tendency to see what is gloomy, or anticipate the worst possible outcome
Positive Stress
stress that challenges a person enough to face daily responsibilites and to pursue life goals
Distress
stress that reaches a point when feelings of depression, confusion, and exhaustion replace the natural excitement and drive to meet a challenge
