PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
a disorder characterized by haunting memories, nightmares, social withdrawal, jumpy anxiety, numbness of feeling, and/or insomnia that lingers for four weeks or more after a traumatic experience
positive reappraisal
act of thinking about the good aspects of stressful events

body system that transports blood throughout the body; consists of the heart and blood vessels

extreme stress due to deeply disturbing events, such as disasters, sexual assault, or violence

Consists of glands that secrete hormones to regulate body processes

Mental Illness that develops as a result of stressful events, examples include acute stress disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Organizing and using your time in a way that allows you to meet your daily needs as well as your short and long-term goals with as little stress as possible.
