I think that depends on your definition of beautiful.if it were up to me I would pick brilliance. I recognize that appearance can make a difference, but knowledge is powerful and can make all the difference.

What do you feel is the most challenging issue facing teenagers today?

i feel the most challenging issue facing teens today is the pressure of social media. many teens put value on instataneous feedback or worrying about the amount of like they get instead of considering real life importance.

what is your biggest accomplishment in life?

i would have to say my biggest accomplishment in life would be remaining myself and always staying true to who i am. i strive to be real and never hide my true colors and not let anyone change that.

would you like to be famous why or why not ?

i would not like to be famous, however i would love to be well known for my accomplishments. i would love to be given the platform that allows me to share my values and be a good role model.

if you could bring only one possesion with you on a desserted island what would it be and why?

if i could only bring one possesion with me, i would bring a camera to capture all the memories i would make on that island.

if you could only have one wish what would it be and why?

if i only had one wish, my wish would be that malnutrition would be destroyed, its awful that families from africa to our own streets cannot feed their children enough to survive. 3.1 million children die a year due to malnutrition, poor health conditions. so if i had one wish it would be to get rid of malnutrition.

what qualities do you feel a good role model should posses ?

in my opinion passion is a good qualities for a role model to posses they will always have that drive and motivation to get something done, without that drive in their heart they might give up, which teaches others to give up.

what is the most important quality to have in order to be successful ?

in my opinion, passion is the absolute most important quality to have in order to be successful. if you dont have that fire in your heart for whatever you desire, you will not put your best effort. and without that drive you may give up when it gets to hard.

what change do you wish to see in young women in the next generation ?

in the next generation i hope to see young women not comparing themselves to other young women, but to lift eachother up, as social media keeps becoming a social impact in our lives with photoshopped images and filtered experiences women may not feel like they are enough.

If you could offer advice to a younger sibling about high school, what would it be?

ive actually had this responsibility this past year as my sister started her freshman year here at dorman high school. my biggest piece of advice would be to cherish it before its gone way to fast, 4 years will fly by and suddnely youre getting ready to leave the place you call home.

what are your favorite things about where you live ?

my favorite thing about spartanburg would have to be the people. i think that its amazing how our community is always so close. whether your celebrating a win or mourning a loss, this community is always there for you.
