History of the Automobile.

He used a steam engine to power the vehicle. It was used to pull artillery guns at a QUICK speed of 2 ½ miles per hour. It had to stop every ten minutes to build up enough steam power to start moving again. Cugnot also built a steam powered tricycle the next year.

The Evolution of the Automobile 2

Henry Ford was an American car manufacturer and in 1913, he invented a better assembly line and created the assembly line stationed around a conveyor-belt. This conveyor-belt assembly line made producing cars cheaper because he was able to make cars faster.

History of the Automobile. 2.

In 1886, Karl Benz received the first patent for a gas fueled car. This first car he patented was a three wheel car. In 1891, Karl Benz patented his second car which had four wheels. He then started the Company Benz & Cie. Other inventors quickly picked up on this new idea.

Conclusion

In Conclusion, Automobiles have been around for over a 100 years. We have seen huge changes in this century, and it is a mystery what is to come in the next hundred years.

Cars of the Future

People are always looking for ways to make things better, even with cars. Since we have now found out that fossil fuels are destroying our Ozone, scientists and inventors are trying to figure out new ways to power our cars.

The Evolution of the Automobile 2

The Model-T, which was Henry Ford's most famous model, was able to be built in 93 minutes, thanks to the conveyor-belt. By 1927, 15 million model T's had been built and sold.

Introduction 2-3

Today I will address (gesture!!) the history of automobiles, their evolution, and finally, cars that we might see in the future. Now let's all take a closer look at these three points.

History of the Automobile. 2.

In a gasoline engine, which was the type of fuel that Karl Benz used, a mixture of gasoline and air is shot or sprayed into a cylinder. This gasoline and air is then compressed by a piston which creates a spark which ignites the fuel. The burning of the fuel generates heat, which drives the piston back down.

History of the Automobile. 2.

. In 1885, Karl Benz, a German engineer, designed and built the first automobile to be powered by an internal Combustion engine. An internal combustion engine is an engine that works by burning fuel inside of the engine.

Cars of the Future

. In an article I read at usatoday.com, it said that hydrogen cars are expected to be produced as early as 2015. The only problem is that there may not be enough places to fill up and the cars may be more expensive so people may not be very excited to buy them.

The Evolution of the Automobile

. Like many inventions, the automobile evolved quickly and started becoming better, faster, and safer. It wasn't long before companies began mass-producing cars. The first company to manufacture cars was the company Panhard & Levassor.

Cars of the Future 2

Another car that is already being sold is the electric car. The Nissan Leaf for example is a very popular electric car and It is completely electric. The only problem is that the battery runs out faster than a car would run out of gas so its not the best car for a long trip.

The Evolution of the Automobile 2

At this time, cars were generally only for people of the upper middle class and the rich because cars were so expensive. According to hypertextbook.com, "only 4,192 passenger cars were built in the United States in 1901". Henry Ford was definitely the person to change this.

History of the Automobile.

By definition, an automobile or car is a wheeled vehicle that carries its own motor and transports passengers. According to Dictionary.com. In 1769, the first self-propelled motor vehicle was invented by Nicolas Joseph Gugnot.

Introduction 1.

Did you know that over fifty seven million cars have been produced this year alone? Cars have now been around for over a hundred years. Before cars, people rode horses, rode in horse drawn carriages or if they weren't very rich, just walked. The automobile that we now know and love was not made by a single person and was definitely not made in a day.
