BLE Beacon
- a device that continuously transmits specific signals by using Low Energy protocol of Bluetooth4.0 or later version; - It can recognize this signal at up to 50m from devices equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 such as Smart Phone; - Operates up to 2 years with one 620mAh mercury battery
ZigBee
- a low-cost, low-power, wireless mesh network standard targeted at the wide development of long battery life devices in wireless control and monitoring applications; - one of the global standards of communication protocol formulated by the significant task force under the IEEE 802.15 working group; - builds on the physical layer and media access control defined in IEEE standard 802.15.4 for lowrate WPANs
a gateway
- a network node that connects two networks using different protocols together; - used to join two dissimilar networks
A proxy server
- an intermediary for requests from clients seeking resources from other servers; - filters which connection is allowed, while a gateway doesn't do any filtering
Direct Connectivity to Base Station
A base station provides connectivity to a large number of devices
NFC( Near Field Communication)
