21) Purpose of Pesach
To commemorate the Jews freedom from slavery in Egypt under Moses God sent 10 plagues and the last one was the angel of death that would kill the first born sons. The Jews were instructed to paint blood over the doors that the angel would pass over their house and spare the kids. Out of anguish the pharaoh sent them out the Jews left so fast that there was no time for the bread to rise that they made which we called unleavened bread they went on a exodus which lasted 40 years also they use matah crackers now instead of just unleavened bread.
