Accessory Glands

(Cowper's Gland and Prostate Gland)- Provide fluid that lubricate the duct system/nourish the sperm

After maturing in the epididymis

the sperm travels through a tube called the vas deferens.

From the testicle the sperm moves

up into to the epididymis to mature.

As the sperm move past the Seminal Vesicle, they pass by the

Accessory glands where they are given a lubricant and more nourishment.

Epididymis

After creation, sperm are stored here until they ripen and mature.

Testicle

One of two sex glands that produce the male reproductive cells called sperm and the male hormone testosterone

Seminal Vesicle

Produces a sticky, sugary fluid to nourish the sperm.

The Vas Deferens first takes the sperm past the

Seminal Vesicle where they are nourished with a sticky sugary fluid.

Vas Deferens

The passageway carrying the sperm from the epididymis to the seminal vesicles.

Urethra

The passageway to transfer urine or semen outside the body

The fluid from the Seminal Vesicle and Accessory glands change the sperm into semen which

exits the body through a passageway called the Urethra.
