Laser Hair Removal

Permanent hair removal treatment Sentence- My friend got a laser hair removal treatment last week to permanently remove hair from her face.

Photoepilation

Permanent hair removal treatment that uses intense light to destroy the growth cells of the hair follicles. Sentence- Since my friend decided to get a laser hair removal, I decided to do it too but I did the photoepilation, which is more intense.

Electrolysis

Removal of hair by means of an electric current that destroys the root of the hair. Sentence- I got an electrolysis hair removal today. It is permanent and destroys the roots of the hair.

Tweezing

Using tweezers to remove hairs. Sentence- When I don't have time to go to the mall and wax my eyebrows, I use a tweezer to fix them a little bit.

Health Screening Form

A questionnaire that discloses all medications, both applied to skin and taken by mouth along with any known skin disorders or allergies that might affect treatment. Sentence- Today I filled out a Health Screening Form so they can know more about me before they do anything to my skin.

Hirsutism

Condition pertaining to an excessive growth or cover of hair, especially in women. Sentence- Thank god I don't have hirsutism.

Brazilian Bikini Waxing

A waxing technique that requires the hair removal of all the hair from the front and the back of the bikini area. Sentence- Today I got a brazilian bikini waxing before i went to the beach to remove all my hair from the front and back in my bikini area.

Depilatory

Chemical hair removal Sentence- I got a depilatory today, it is not permanent.

Hirsuties

Growth of an unusual amount of hair on parts of the body normally bearing only downy hair, such as the faces of women or back of men. Sentence- I'm a guy and I have hirsuties. I have hair on my back, a lot of it.

Epilator

Substance used to remove hair by pulling it out of the follicle. Sentence- An epilator is a thing that pulls out hair.

Sugaring

Temporary hair removal method that involves the use of a thick, sugar-based paste. Sentence- I got a sugaring wax today, it is done with a thick sugar-based paste.

Threading

Temporary hair removal method that involves twisting and rolling cotton thread along the surface of the skin, entwining the hair in the thread, and lifting it from the follicle. Sentence- I went to the mall today so they can thread my eyebrows instead of waxing them.
