Missed Dose

Tri-Lo-Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate)

Take missed tablet ASAP. If you miss more than 1 day, contact pharm or doc for further instruction.

Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone)

Take the missed dose if its more than 12 hours until the next dose. If it is less than 12 hours then skip that dose and resume the dosing schedule. Don't take 2 doses at the same time.

Lithobid (lithium carbonate)

Take the missed dose if there is more than 4 hours until the next dose. If its less than 4 hours then skip that dose and resume dosing schedule. Don't take 2 doses at the same time.

Xulane (ethinyl estradiol/norelgestromin)

1. If week1/day1: apply ASAP, this is your new Day 1. Use backup for 7 days 2. If its week 2 or 3: - if its missed within 1-2 days, change immediately and maintain the normal patch change day. - If more than 48 hrs, start a new 4 week set with a new Day 1. Use back up contraception for 7 days 3. If its the last week and you forgot to take it off, just remove it ASAP, have the period or break week, and maintain normal Day 1 patch day

Invokana (canagliflozin)

May be taken within 12 hours of missed dose since med is dosed qd

Mounjaro (Tirzepatide)

May be taken within 4 days of missed dose since dosed qweekly. If more than 4 days, skip the dose and resume normal dosing schedule

Humalog U-100 Kwikpen (Insulin Lispro)

May take immediately after a meal. If its more than 15 minutes after the meal then skip the missed dose and resume at the next scheduled dose. Don't double up on dosez

Humulin N U-100 Vial (Insulin NPH)

May take missed dose if its within 6 hours of the missed dose. If more than 6 hours, skip and resume at next dose. Don't double up on doses.
