It both helps and hurts Napoleon. It helps inspire his soldiers because they are proud to fight for France. However, it also inspires many of the peoples he now rules over to revolt. They see Napoleon as a foreign conqueror and want him out - they don't want to be rules by a French guy when they aren't French!!!

It was against the British and their allies. The campaign didn't go well, but the French people welcomed Napoleon back to France as a national hero.

The Battle of Waterloo is when Napoleon's enemies defeated him. He was sent to St. Helena for the rest of his life.
What happens in Russia and how many French Soldiers survive?
The Russian's used Scorched Earth Policy. They got to Moscow and it was abandoned (all the food and people and everything else was gone). At the beginning of October Napoleon ordered a retreat. The winter killed Napoleon's army. There were only 10,000 soldiers left.
