a mild or vague word or expression that has been substituted for one that is more offensive, harsh, or blunt.

partisan (adj)

partial to a specific person or party.

tabulate (v)

to arrange information in the form of a table/chart.

waffle (v)

to fail to make up one's mind; to be unable or unwilling to make a clear decision.

nullify (v)

to render or declare legally void or inoperative.

pander (v)

to spoil a person by giving him his desires (usually something immoral/illegal).

hyperbolic (adj)

using a hyperbole; exaggerating.

judicious (adj)

using or showing good judgement; wise and sensible.

constituency (n)

A body of voters in a specific area who elect a representative.

An authorized person who represents others; in particular an elective representative.
