Slide pane

This displays the current slide in your presentation.

Selection box

This has a dashed line border and appears around the placeholder, indicating that it is selected and ready to accept text.

Theme

This includes theme colors, theme fonts, and theme effects to create a cohesive look.

Zoom slider

This is located in the lower-right corner of the status bar and is used to zoom the slide in and out quickly.

Quick Access Toolbar

This provides access to common commands such as Save, Undo, Redo, and Start From Beginning. It is always visible no matter which Ribbon tab you select.
