Which country do you think had a stronger democracy at the end of the nineteenth century, France or England? Why?
I think that England had a stronger democracy because they had a 2 party parliment and France had more than 2 so, France was more unorganized than England which was more organized. I think this because in 1871 Breta Britain already had a 2 party parliamentary system for more than 50 years. And in 1900 they added a new party called the Labour Party. Which made them a stronger democracy.
