Why? NBC almost always is pro-US, so wouldn't this be good for the USA? Well, if they showed it, it'd be clear that the US would win and there wouldn't be any drama. "Creative editing" ♣ Almost everything on the west coast is tape delayed ♣ Mark Lazarus, Chairman of NBC sports group - we try to make things available during each time zone's primetime when most people are watching tv (so, not live when the event actually happens). But, in the Mountain and West time zones it's proven mostly effective ♣ US/USSR hockey game - shown on tape delay; entire chunks of the game were edited out
