During the New Vehicle Delivery, customers can enroll in SUBARU STARLINK Safety and Security Services which offers many services to enhance their ownership experience. Depending on the subscription option selected, STARLINK Safety and Security Services provide customers with many key benefits that allow them to:

Receive vehicle Maintenance Notifications - When it is time for scheduled maintenance, the customer will be notified in vehicle, on MySubaru.com and on their MySubaru Mobile app. Receive monthly vehicle health reports - A monthly report showing all diagnostic alerts that have occurred in the vehicle over the past 30 days and a description of the light and the current status. If there are lights illuminated in the vehicle, they will be prompted to schedule service at their retailer.

Let's walk through the general 6-steps of the Delivery Process that are common to all STARLINK Generations.

Step 1: Log into subarunet.com and navigate to "Vehicles/Sales" on the left menu, and select "Delivery Process/Enrollment." Step 2: Enter the last 8 or the full 17 digits of the VIN. Step 3: Select the appropriate MySubaru Account option for Pre-RDR , Post-RDR and Post-RDR with a different customer. Step 4: Enroll in the desired STARLINK package. Step 5: Set the 1st service appointment. Step 6: Complete the Dynamic Delivery Checklist (DDC).

Now let's look at the different ways that your customers can enroll in STARLINK Safety and Security Services. No matter what subscription or terms your customer considers, you can enroll them in three ways:

The first way is at the retailer via Subarunet.com. Enrolling via Subarunet.com is the preferred method. The second way is the customer enrolling on MySubaru.com. The third and final way is by calling SUBARU STARLINK Customer Care. We will focus our attention in this course on the New Vehicle Delivery Process and STARLINK Safety and Security Services enrollment on Subarunet.com only. Third way is by calling Subaru Starlink my customer care.

All STARLINK-connected vehicles starting with the 2023 model year will have Next Generation or Next Generation Enhanced. The STARLINK Enrollment process varies slightly depending on:

the STARLINK Safety & Security Services generation or if it is new or Certified Pre-owned.

Remember, the DDC contents will vary depending on:

the equipment of the vehicle and follow the GSG of that vehicle. Check the STARLINK Retailer Manual for the appropriate STARLINK Generation on Subaru Foundations in Toolkit for detailed step-by-step instructions.

Let's examine how STARLINK enrollment and upgrade eligibility is determined. Eligibility for the current month is determined based on your STARLINK performance from the prior

three months. For example, January eligibility will be determined based on the STARLINK-equipped vehicles sold in October, November and December.

Automatic Collision Notification

will alert a STARLINK Safety & Security Customer Care Advisor, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The advisor will then promptly communicate via the speakers in the car and alert the appropriate first responder.
