Through

It means that something or someone passes from one side to the other side through something, or someone's going to somewhere. In Brazilian Portuguese "através/por". He went through the tunnel. The bullet went through the metal plate. He walked through the door. We made our way through the crowd to get to the car park. We went through São Francisco on the way to Porto Alegre. Tough

Thorough

deep, meticulous, careful. In a deep meaning: Surgeons need to have a thorough understanding of human anatomy. In a meticulous meaning: The police made a thorough examination of the crime scene. In a careful meaning: I'm very thorough with my finances.
