Flips object across axis- good for tracing stmmetricle object like a spoon.

Good for transforming multiple objects individually.

Group of present operations that help you combine paths in a variety of ways.

Shear Tool

Hidden behind scale tool- shears at an angle.

Clipping Mask

In object menu: window through which you view come or all of the objects behind the mask in stacking order- like putting a picture inside text.

X and Y coordinates

Indicate objects horizontal (x) and verticle (y) locations on artboard.

When you change and objects shape or position on the artboard.

It is a transformation.

Allign Pannel

Offers a quick and simple solution for aligning selceted objects along the axis you specify.

4 Basic Methods for making transformations

*Click transform tools- then click and drag anywhere on the artboard. *double click the trandsform tool. *Click transform tool then click the artboard. *Click transform tool- press alt then click artboard.

Concentric

Refers to objects that share the same center point.

Transformation tools

Rotate, scale, reflect, shear, and free transform tools.

Shear

Skews or distorts an object- good for depth.

Minus Back

The opposite of subtract: deletes the backmost object from the frontmost object.

Comound Shape

Two or more paths that are combinded in such a way that "holes" appear where ever paths overlap.

Subtract From Shape Area

Where objects overlap.
