these are used by large retailers and are next to E.g docks and railways.

these are used for helping small independent retailers to get goods as cheaply as possible.
bonded warehouses
these are used to store goods or materials which have been imported and paid a tax on. sometimes though goods are stored there for a small time before moving onto somewhere else.
cold storage warehouses
this is a place where fresh fruit and perishable goods are stored so that they get the conditions they need.

this is used by farmers and are next to their fields
retail warehouses
this is where the reserve stocks for a company are stored
