The Quran is Islam's holy book, like the Bible or Torah!
It has words from God (Allah) given to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
The Quran is written in Arabic, the language of the Arabs. Many many years ago, when the Prophet recieved these teachings,
people would memorize them and the litterate people would right the words down
